Plant life after rainbow valley: These babies have been in my studio w/ artificial light for way to long now, time to setting them free!
alright! it was a good run. them plants showed up and did there thing. i’m excited to see what the next incarnation will be… fish are on the horizon. many thanks to my major partner/collaborator/spirit animal Gabriel Varney, liz wing, ATA, everyone who contributed throughout the process and came out this weekend, it was great!

i have augmented my drawing practice with plant propagation. spending a sunday morning caring for plants is a great activity. compulsively stealing cuttings from around town is not quite as great an activity, but one i have gotten in the habit of. beyond the intrinsic value of this practice, i also consider it r&d for future food gardening endevors as well as a top secret plant project i can’t mention here ;)
