This is what my studio looked like sunday morning. now its got a lot more white. All this shit is a general growth and decay of my space over the last 6 months or so. I miss it but it has already started to grow back anew.

Drew Bennett Facebook Mountains

I recently had the great opportunity of painting all night for three months on the walls of one of Facebook’s office buildings! These are just some pictures I took at 5 in the morning to remember what I was working on. Once I get magic Otto on the scene I will post much more legit photos.151-art-33.jpg

Shirt making with Birds & Batteries!

drew bennett, studio, san francisco art, birds and batteries, shirts, silk screening

To send off Birds and Batteries on a little tour down to South By Southwest, Mike Sempert and I follied through my first silk screening venture since moving to San Francisco. I selfishly only documented my design, but Mike screened two B&B classic logos along side my experimentation. There were 11 slight variations on the theme, but I only shot a few before they hit the road. All-in-all I am pleased with the results and hope that this experience was the kick-off to many more custom drew shirts in the near future.

Yoga Sarah

friends — drew bennett on March 8, 2008 at 3:37 pm

Sarah recently completed her yoga teacher training at Yoga Tree, and is now teaching classes twice a week at Joe’s Blue Sticks Acoustic Room, right next door to triple base on 24th street. This is a great class for anyone interested in yoga and potentially not interested in yoga stigmas. She handles beginners and seasoned yogis with great ease.  All the details below. Hope to see you there!! library-1228.jpg

(oh yeah, I helped her with the flyer)
